Veggie Burger

Ingredients (four servings):

  • 4 long whole grain bread rolls
  • 3.53 oz (100g) cream cheese with herbs, e.g. Almonta Herbs
  • 5.29 oz (150g) courgette
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tbs. olive oil
  • Salt, pepper
  • 1 tsp. finely cut herbs (parsley, thyme, basil)
  • 5.29 oz (150g) cherry tomatoes
  • 1.06 oz (30g) spring onions
  • 1 package (4 cheese patties = 9.88 oz / 280g) Bergland Grilling Cheese of your choice


  • Halve the bread rolls and put some cream cheese on the bottom half.
  • Then cut the courgette obliquely into fine slices and peel and chop the garlic clove.
  • Heat 1 tsp. of olive oil in a pan and add courgette plus garlic and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  • Season with some salt and pepper and intersperse the herbs.
  • Let cool lukewarm.
  • Now wash the tomatoes and cut them into slices.
  • Heat the rest of the oil in a pan and fry the tomato slices together with the spring onions shortly from both sides.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Take the Bergland Grilling Cheese out of the packaging and roast for about 5 minutes at medium heat without adding fat in a coated pan until golden brown.
  • Now put the courgette on the bottom half of the bread roll and cover with tomatoes, grilling cheese and the upper half of the bread roll.
